Low Cages are constructed using 13 and 16mm aluminium tubing, joiners, netting, pegs and clips. Depending on what infestation you have, you will need to select the correct covering. So, depending on what you need to grow, the low cages will be able to cater to your needs with is subtle and stylish design. These cages are available in a variety of dimensions, with the maximum dimension for the standard size being W 1.98m x L 4.98; giving plenty of space for crop growing.
Standing at an impressive height of 1.9m, the extremely high-quality walk-in cages offer plenty of room to work in, meaning you can attend to your crop whenever you like. Due to the height of the cage; most people should be able to stand inside without crouching! It comes in a variety of sizes, however the largest standard walk-in cage is W 6m x L 8m, giving you an enormous area for you to grow your plants, fruit or vegetables. They are constructed using sturdy 19mm aluminium poles and connect by heavy-duty UV stabilized joiners. All standard walk-in cages come with a door, making it extremely easy access.
The premium walk-in cages are the strongest cages on offer. They are constructed using extremely strong black powder coated 27mm tubing, while being connected by galvanized and powder coated joiners. This means that the cages are extremely strong and durable, and it will last for many years. Similar to the standard walk-in cages, the premium cages stand at an impressive height of 1.9m. Due to the sheer strength of these cages, they are ideal if you are living in an area that is particularly exposed by the wind or snow. The largest standard size for the premium cages is W 4.40m x L 8m, meaning you will have plenty of room to grow and develop your crop. The premium cages do not come with a door.
Build Your Own Cages
As mentioned, there are maximum sizes that come with the low, walk-in and premium cages. However, if there is a specific size that you have in mind you can always tell us the dimensions that you require, and we will be able to design a quote for you ready for all your bespoke needs. For example, if you needed a W 10m x L 12m standard walk-in cage, we would be able to design a cage that has the correct amount of tubing, joiners and covering so you would have a complete cage for the area that you would like to cover, making your growing easier throughout the season!
Also constructed using 19mm aluminium, these cages are very easy to assemble. They have a base rail included, meaning that they have excellent protection, even in the most extreme of weathers. They come in a variety of different lengths: 1.5m, 3m, 4.5 and 6m, while there are 4 different hoops you can have with your cages: square, small high top, large high top and small round aluminium. Each of these have different widths and height which will be more or less suitable depending on what you would like to grow.
The domed cages are designed using a ‘slot-in’ system, making them very easy to assemble and use. They can simply be put into the ground and that will provide excellent stability. For the domed cages, you can select from the round, high top or square hoops. They are ideal if you are looking to grow taller crops such as corn or peas. The standard domed cage has a height of 1.88m, meaning the height is similar to that of a walk-in cage. The domed cages come in a variety of lengths; from 1.2m - 6m.
