About Us
For those not familiar with Gardening Naturally, we are a small, family run business providing gardening solutions and alternatives to enable you to grow fruit and vegetables without the use of pesticides. Our products are natural and safe to use around children, pets and wildlife.
We pride ourselves on excellent customer service, and only supply products that we feel are of quality, reliability and value for money.
We have added even more product lines including a large Outdoor Living section which include stunning Garden Lights and Fire Pits.
Our aim is to provide our customers with everything they could possibly need in order to create their own perfect outside space.
We sell a large range of netting, netting supports, traps and barriers which will ensure you will be eating your vegetables not the insect pests.
We do not have a shop or showroom and we are not open to the public.
Our opening times are 8.30am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
You can order via the online shop, we do not have a shop or showroom. We are open Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm. We accept all major cards or you can order via phone, snail mail.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Shipping And Handling
When ordering just nematodes, delivery is free of charge.
For all other items, we will either charge £4.98 for standard items, £6.99 for large items and £14.99 for oversized items.
We also offer an express delivery service for orders placed before 1pm, they willl be sent the same day on a 1-2 day service. Standard delivery is a 2-3 service. For express delivery we will either charge £7.99 for standard items, £9.99 for large items and £19.99 for oversized items.
The correct delivery charge will be applied in the checkout.
*some additional charges can be applied for larger and heavier items to highlands and islands.
The couriers we use are Royal Mail and DHL.
Note: Please check your address, if you supply us an incorrect address we cannot be held responsible for non delivery.
Sorry, we only deliver within the UK at the moment.
Delivery Schedule
95% of orders are despatched within 24 hours of receipt, they are despatched with either Royal Mail or DHL on a 2-3 day service. Orders received over the weekend are despatched on a Monday. If ordering just nematodes then delivery is completely free of charge regardless of the number of deliveries.
Heavier items and orders over £50 (guide) are despatched using UK Mail which is a 24-48 hour service. Consignments may require a signature. You can ask for orders to be left somewhere safe or with a neighbour - just fill in the special delivery instructions as you go throught the checkout.
This excludes Biological Controls, a guide date is given when ordering, we try to keep to these dates but cannot be guaranteed
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
Tax Charges
The VAT rate is 20% VAT
Credit Card Security
All card payments are processed by Braintree. Gardening Naturally do not have access to your credit card information and cannot take any additional money.

Reasons for Collection of Personal Data
To comply with our contractual obligations to fulfil your order.
To respond to your queries and enquiries, using the personal data you sent enables us to respond.
We do this on out contractual obligations, our legitimate business interest and our legal obligations.
If you sign up to our newsletter consent is given for us to keep you informed on special offers, discounts and promotions, news and tips by email. You can opt out at any time.
As part of our legitimate business interest we send a printed catalogue through the post once a year to previous customers. If you prefer to receive a pdf or opt out of this, please email [email protected]
We also analyse data such as purchase history to identify trends to help us design new items and service, keep up with demand and offer better services to our customers. The data analysis that is done is used with either anonymous data or pseudonymisation of data (e.g. using codes or numbers to ensure the personal information cannot be identified.)

We sometimes share your personal data with trusted third parties.

We work closely with all the third parties to ensure your data is protected.

• Delivery couriers and companies of direct delivery items to send your order
• Direct marketing company to store our mailing list (only if you sign up for our newsletter)
• IT companies who support our website and other business systems.
We may also be required to disclose personal data to the police of other enforcement bodies, upon a valid request. These requests take customer privacy into consideration and are all assessed case by case.

How long we keep your personal information
We will hold your personal information for as long as is necessary. We will not retain your personal information if it is no longer required. In some circumstances, we may legally be required to retain your personal information, for example for finance, employment or audit purposes.

• We will keep orders records for 7 years to comply with HMRC regulations.
• We will keep records of queries and enquiries for 1 year.

Gardening Naturally and WEEE – Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment
WEEE has been developed by the UK government to encourage recycling of old electrical products and batteries.
Over 75% of electrical products currently end up in landfills, and 1.45 million tonnes of electrical waste is produced each year in the UK, lead and other toxins can leach into the soil and cause water contamination damaging the environment, wildlife and potentially our health.
Much of the products we currently send to landfills could be recycled, disassembled and/or reused saving natural resources and reducing risk to the environment.
All electrical products should now display this sign:
Any products produced from June 2006 should display this symbol on the packaging/instructions or the product itself, any batteries included with your goods should also display this sign. If this is on your product you can be reassured its covered by the WEEE legislation and as such every effort can be taken to ensure it is recycled.
Waste Batteries and Accumulators Regulations 2008
Under this regulation, Gardening Naturally offer a take-back scheme for all portable waste batteries. You can return your waste batteries to our business premises in person:

We want to ensure you are perfectly happy with your order so if for any reason you are unhappy with your items, you can return them in perfect condition and in their original packaging within 30 days for a full replacement or a full refund.
We will only cover the cost of the postage if the item is damaged, faulty, or if the wrong items have been sent. We do not accept responsibility for damaged or lost parcels on return, so it is advisable to obtain a postal receipt, or send the goods back via recorded delivery.
If you wish to cancel an order you must return the goods at your cost in good/unused condition, the value of the goods will be refunded.
Please ensure you enclose the invoice or your name and address with a reason for returning.
Please note Biological Controls and Nematodes are live material and cannot be returned.
