Why do I need a cover for my run? 

It's important to prepare your chicken run for the winter. Chickens & hens still need regular fresh air and excercise even during the winter. Can I just cover my chicken run with plastic? 

You can, however, the cover provided here will is designed to match the size and colour with your current chicken run. In short, it is a longer term solution to weather-proofing your chicken run and won't ruin the aesthetic of your run.
