Construction will take roughly half a day and requires a cross head screwdriver, a battery-powered one is preferable.

Will chickens stop laying if their coop is dirty?
If the nesting material is unclean, your hens will not want to lay in it. It is best to clear the nesting box once or twice a week with fresh materials. A clean coop is key to quality, frequent egg laying.
There are other reasons that may contribute to your hens stopping laying. Including, their age, the environment (new chickens in the flock), the season (it’s winter).
