Perfect for children to challenge their siblings or friends to see who can grow the tallest garden sunflower. Then they can watch the garden birds feast on the sunflower seed heads.
These grow your own garden sunflower seeds are ideal for children aged 7-11, as they support lessons being taught at key stage 2.

How to use
Step 1- Sow and grow the sunflower seeds outdoors in your garden, March to May, place 2 seeds together, each pair 30cm apart, cover with 2.5cm of fine soil and keep moist.
Step 2- When the garden plants are around 5cm tall, take out the weaker seedling leaving just one in each position.
Step 3- Keep well-watered to encourage growth.
Step 4- Flowers June to October.

Top tip:
Tie your garden sunflower plants securely to a stake to stop them falling over.
