Effective predator of thrips including key species, Western Flower Thrips (WFT) Frankliniella occidentalis and Onion thrips Thrips tabaci.

Has a polyphagous diet so can survive off pollens in the absence of thrips.

Mites will move across an area of approx. 1.5 metres depending on the environment and food availability.

Dose rate:

50 - 250 mites per m² . Introductions: repeat fortnightly dependent on monitoring and conditions.

Keep containers horizontal and cool until use.

Do not expose to direct sunlight at any time.

Immediately before opening, gently rotate the container to distribute mites evenly throughout the carrier material.

Open each container in the crop when ready to use.

Shake small quantities of Swirskii onto the crop near flowers.

Use product within 18 hours of receipt.

Requires approximately temperatures of 12°C at night and 15°C in the day.
