Insert to a maximum depth of 2 to 3 inches and check the temperature recorded after 3 minutes.
Example: 40-90° Fahrenheit: Beet, broccoli, cabbage, carrot, lettuce, And radish.
50-90° Fahrenheit: Asparagus, corn, tomato.
