Benefits of using a soil test kit

There are several benefits to using a soil test kit:

Saves money: By testing your soil, you can determine exactly what nutrients your plants need, which can help you save money on fertilizers and other soil amendments.

Increases plant health: By knowing the nutrient levels in your soil, you can adjust your fertilizing and watering habits to meet the specific needs of your plants. This can help to improve their overall health and vigour.

Prevents over- or under-fertilizing: Using a soil test kit allows you to avoid applying too much or too little fertilizer, which can lead to unhealthy plants and wasted resources.

Helps you make informed decisions: A soil test kit provides you with accurate, reliable information about your soil, which can help you make informed decisions about how to care for your plants.

Easy to use: Most soil test kits are easy to use and come with clear instructions and all the necessary tools. With a little practice, anyone can learn to test their soil and get accurate results.

Overall, using a soil test kit is a simple and effective way to ensure that your plants are getting the nutrients they need to thrive.

Contains enough reagents for approximately 60 tests.

Test for:

Nitrogen (N) - This is essential for the growth of vegetation especially grass and leafy plants. The correct amount allows for healthy growth, too much and the plant's structure will be damaged.

Phosphorus (P) - This nutrient is necessary for strong root growth and root vegetables. It helps in the formation of buds and healthy stems. A lack of phosphorous will stunt the growth of a plant.

Potassium/Potash (K) - This nutrient is important in the development of flowers and shrubs. The correct potassium levels ensure that flowers become more fragrant and have improved colour. In vegetables it ensures a better quality crop and also makes plants more resistant to disease.

Included:

4 Test Tubes
4 Measuring Spoons,
Reagents for 15 tests for each - pH, N, P & K (60 tests total)
