Mexican Giant Cactus Grow Your Own Kit

Included: seeds, a ceramic pot, compost and food. Simple and easy to maintain this cactus would make the perfect gift for loved ones.

Fill the planter with compost leaving a little to cover the seeds. Spray a little water over the surface to moisten the compost. Open the plant food and seed sachet and scatter evenly across the surface of the compost. Cover the seeds and plant food over with the remaining compost and firm down.

Locate a warm place and cover the pot with a plastic bag to create a humid environment. Once you can see signs of growth remove the plastic bag and relocate to a warm windowsill and spray with water lightly as an when required.

Never leave a cactus to stand in trays or pots of water and do not water if the soil is already damp. Leave soil to dry out between watering.
