Black Modular Hoop Tunnel Kits
Our flexible black hoop tunnel kits give you all the components you require to create your own flexible hoop tunnel.
Each black rod is 900mm in length which are half the length of our green hoops but can be connected with the use of the joiners to create a middle support bar for extra stability. To create one hoop you will need a minimum of 2 rods plus a joiner.
Includes everything you need to create your tunnel including the middle support bars and clips for securing netting(clips only included when buying a tunnel with netting).
Unlike our green hoops these do not come complete with anchors as these rods have multiple uses and anchors may not be necessary. If you would like anchors click here anchors.
A variety of lengths and cover choices are available. Additional black hoops and joiners can also be purchased separately to create a tunnel that meets specific requirements.
If you are using your own netting then the minimum fabric width for creating tunnels/cloches = 1.8m (5ft 3in). If the hoops are erected 1.2m (4ft) wide they will stand approx. 600mm (2ft) high. You will need to add 1.2m (2 x 600mm) to your tunnel length to get the correct length of netting.
0.9m long includes: 5 black rods, 2 joiner tees
This creates a tunnel of 2 complete hoops and 1 crossbar.
1.8m long includes: 8 black rods, 1 joiner cross, 2 joiner tees
This creates a tunnel of 3 complete hoops and 2 crossbars.
2.7m long includes: 11 black rods, 2 joiner crosses, 2 joiner tees
This creates a tunnel of 4 complete hoops and 3 crossbars.
3.6m long includes: 14 black rods, 3 joiner crosses, 2 joiner tees
This creates a tunnel of 5 complete hoops and 4 crossbars.
4.5m long includes: 17 black rods, 4 joiner crosses, 2 joiner tees
This creates a tunnel of 6 complete hoops and 5 crossbars.
5.4m long includes: 20 black rods, 5 joiner crosses, 2 joiner tees
This creates a tunnel of 7 complete hoops and 6 crossbars.
If you choose a tunnel with a cover then you will also receive clips and steel pegs for securing the cover to your frame.
