The blade is taper ground to offer minimal friction which reduces drag; the tri edge teeth are precisely sharpened on three different plains for outstanding performance.
Cutting on the pull stroke provides maximum control with minimal effort and leaves a really smooth surface to reduce the risk of die back disease.
The upper sickle can be used to cut vines or assist in dislodging severed branches which are caught up.
The lower sickle is used to undercut the branch to help reduce the strip back when the branch is severed. Both sickles help to prevent slipping out of the cut which is especially useful when working at height where visibility is limited.

Maintenance
Prolong effective use with regular care. Remove sap after use. Oil and sharpen as necessary and store in a dry place.
