Basket CosieBasket Cosies allow baskets to be put out earlier in the season. The Cosie will give protection against frost and cold winds. It will also reduce 'drying out' of the compost.

Once the hanging basket is planted, hang it in position, open out the 'Cosie' and draw it up around the basket. Pull the draw cord to close the top and tie it in position.

For 'pedestal' baskets the Cosie should be pulled down over the top and tied below.

During extended cold periods, spraying the Cosie with water will improve the insulation quality.

Basket Cosies may be re-used many times. After use the Cosie may be washed (in a machine on a low temperature setting) and stored in an area which is safe from mice or other rodents.
