Hanging Tomato Planter (pk 2)
Fit the plastic collar through the slit in the bottom of the bag with the plate on the inside. Carefully insert the roots of the plant through the collar and add the foam to the stem from the inside. Push the stem and foam surround into the platic collar so that the plant is supported.

Add good potting compost to the level of the bottom planting slits and firm gently.

If more plants are required, push them through the slits so that the roots rest on the ocmpost and add more compost to the level of the second row of slits, firming it as you proceed.

At this stage add the watering tube to the centre of the planter so that the top is level with the top of the planter. Add more plants if required and repeat the firming and filling, keeping the watering tube in the centre.

When the planter is full, plants can be added to the planter top opening. Water well using the watering tube to ensure the compost is fully wetted.
