Winter Tree Wash


Winter Tree Wash is a blend of natural plant and fish oils for control of over-wintering insect pests on fruit trees and bushes during the dormat season. Suitable for edible and ornamental crops. The product works by purely physical means and is suitable for organic gardening.

Winter Tree Wash controls the eggs, larvae and nymphs of aphid (including Greenfly, Blackfly and Whitefly) and other over-wintering insect pests on most fruit trees and bushes including Apple, Pear, Plum, Cherry, Gooseberry, Blackberry, Raspberry, Blackcurrent and Redcurrent. The product is also suitable for vines under glass.

Directions for use: For best results apply during calm dry conditions in the dormant period (November through to February). Mix 50ml per litre of water and apply as a fine spray, thoroughly covering all bark surfaces. Particular attention should be paid to the crooks of branches or stems where pests may harbour. If required a repeat application can be made just prior to bud break in early spring.

Note: Treat after leaf fall and prior to bud break in spring or test a small area 24 hours prior to overall application. Vitax Winter Tree Wash may stain concrete or other porous sufaces.
